COMPETITIVE PAY
$24.90 – $37.34 / hour • $55,504.52 – $83,256.78 / year
Lateral candidates with prior law enforcement experience are hired within the FULL salary range based on qualifications and experience — not just at entry level.
Example: An officer with 10 years’ experience, a Bachelor’s Degree and an Intermediate Law Enforcement Certificate: $70,500 annually ($31.62 per hour).

What You’ll Do
Patrol the City by vehicle and on foot, respond to calls for service, investigate criminal and traffic incidents, and engage in proactive community policing — all while partnering with residents, business owners, and community leaders to keep Brevard a great place to live.
