The North Carolina Speed Measurement Instructor Program is a state-certified course designed for experienced law enforcement officers who want to become instructors in RADAR and LIDAR speed enforcement.

These programs provide advanced training in N.C. General Statutes, speed measurement theory, equipment operation, courtroom testimony, and instructional techniques. Officers will learn how to effectively train others in the use of radar and lidar technology for traffic enforcement.
