Israeli Team Response Method

Who Should Attend: 

Officers who would be exposed to active shooter incidents.

 

Course Goal: 
 

The Israeli active shooter response is based on the single fighter concept. Yet, the single fighter responding to an active shooter incident may find other law enforcement – or armed civilians – already on the scene. The Israeli Team Response Method course places the single fighter within a team that can engage in a coordinated manner through predefined tactical procedures, without a need for a command structure. 
 
The goal of the course is threefold: (1) use the Single Fighter mentality and skills within the TEAM construct, (2) understand predefined tactical procedures and operate as a team without command structure, and (3) engage as a TEAM to respond to an active incident with speed and accuracy. 
 

Course Objectives:


At the end of this course, participants will be able to achieve the following objectives in accordance with the information presented during the instructional period:
 
(1) Identify foe or friend in complex environment
 
(2) Operate as a Single Fighter within a TEAM under high levels of stress with fortitude and aggressiveness appropriate to the given situation and within the confines of the law.
 
(3) Demonstrate advanced weapons proficiency and Krav Maga skills and apply those to a TEAM effort.
 
(4) Demonstrate TEAM tactics necessary to successfully neutralize the threat.
 
 

Methodologies:


This course employs lecture, discussion, demonstrations, practical and surprise exercises.
 

Course Requirements:


100% Attendance. Successfully complete practical exercises, including including minimum 70% speed / accuracy shooting test. IMI Florida Certification is 90% +, Distinguished Graduate Certificate; 70 - 89%, Graduate Certificate; below 70% Participation Certificate

Special Concerns:


Only active sworn L/E or active military personnel will be allowed to enroll. Must bring appropriate training attire, eye & ear protection, pistol + 3 mags, holster for rapid draw, mag pouch for 2 mags, 700 pistol rounds , plus carbine with carrying sling and 250 rifle rounds.
