FEET on the Ground: Fortifying Efforts to Eradicate Human Trafficking in NC


Who Should Attend:

Law Enforcement, District Attorneys, Judges, Victim Service Providers, Mental Health Professionals, Social Workers, Child Advocacy Center Workers, Faith Communities, Survivors, Advocates, and others working on behalf of those affected by human trafficking.

Course Goal:

Strengthen and expand North Carolina's capacity and infrastructure to address human trafficking.

Course Objectives:

  1. Gather a wide variety of interested individuals from across North Carolina—including law enforcement, district attorneys, judges, victim service providers, medical and mental health professionals, social workers, child advocacy centers, faith communities, survivors, advocates, and others who work on the behalf of those affected by human trafficking.
  2. Provide information about ways to collaborate across disciplines and jurisdictions to address human trafficking.
  3. Provide tangible ideas and tools that participants can use in their home communities.
