Who Should Attend:

Sworn Law Enforcement Officers, Armed Security, Active Duty Military

Course Goal:

This course is designed for Smith & Wesson M&P Centerfire Duty Pistols. Focus will be on nomenclature, field stripping and maintenance, safeties and safety checks, detailed disassembly, troubleshooting and minor repairs. Performing lessons repeatedly will insure good hands-on instruction for a better understanding of this firearm.

Course Objectives:

To enable officers to properly maintain agency duty pistols.

Methodologies:

Lecture, practical exercises.

Course Requirements:

Students must bring their own tool kit to the class. The tool kits may be purchased during registration on the S&W website at www.smith-wesson.com/sites/default/files/FSSITES_NEW.pdf for $79.00.

Registration & Fee:

Tuition/Fees: $185.00

Must register with Smith & Wesson on their academy website at www.smith-wesson.com/sites/default/files/FSSITES_NEW.pdf.  Students must also register with the NC Justice Academy.
