Purpose:

 
The Park Rangers Institute is a forum designed to facilitate those officers having a responsibility for policing park areas to: receive training in appropriate job related areas; meet in formal and informal sessions to address shared problems and develop solutions; and to anticipate future challenges in park-related law enforcement and provide for a proactive response. The content of the Institute will reflect, each year, the training area most relevant to the times.
