Training Calendar for July 2015 – December 2015

George Bernard Shaw once wrote, “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” At the North Carolina Justice Academy, we are constantly looking for ways to improve the services we provide to criminal justice professionals across North Carolina. This is what progress is all about. As always, we welcome your comments and suggestions. Feel free to email me ( or post a Facebook comment or follow us on Twitter.

Attention all officers - Effective 5/26/15 the NCDMV began issuing a single-registration renewal sticker. The single-registration renewal sticker is grey in color. The expiring month, year & plate number is printed on the sticker. The expiring month and year is printed above the plate number on the sticker. This will eliminate the need for a month sticker. The “single sticker” is required to be placed on the upper right-hand side of the license plate.

We have two campuses located in Salemburg and Edneyville, NC to better serve North Carolina Criminal Justice Agencies' training needs. Please refer to our maps for driving directions and the lower portion of the screen for contact information.  Once you arrive on campus, please use these campus maps to find your way around our campuses.
