Campus Update

Salemburg:Sampson County is under a Winter Storm Advisory until 10:00PM 24 Feb. LIDAR Instructor, 25-27 Feb. is CANCELLED. All other courses that started on 23 Feb will operate on their normal course schedule for those on campus. Edneyville: Henderson County is under a Winter Storm Advisory until Noon today. Community-Oriented Policing course that started on 23 Feb will operate on a normal schedule for those on campus. Commuting students should use their best judgment before traveling.

NC Homicide Investigators Association Conference

North Carolina Homicide Investigators Association Conference is March 18-20 in Hickory. You don't want to miss it. Topics like "What NCSHP Air Wing can do for you", "Polygraphs and Homicide Investigations", "Proving Capital Murder", and the" Defense Attorney Perspective" will be discussed.

NCJA's Online Training Portal

NCJA’s Online Training has moved to its new web portal. You will find this site more modern, robust, and easier to use. For complete details on how to register, click on the "more" button. Within 48 hours of registering you should receive an email containing your user name and password from the NCJA system administrator. You will then be able to take any of the available courses.


Welcome to the North Carolina Justice Academy website.  The Academy's staff trains thousands of criminal justice personnel throughout the state. Numerous state and local agencies make use of the campus facilities, instructional services, and its professional staff for criminal justice training.

We have two campuses located in Salemburg and Edneyville, NC to better serve North Carolina Criminal Justice Agencies' training needs. Please refer to our maps for driving directions and the lower portion of the screen for contact information.  Once you arrive on campus, please use these campus maps to find your way around our campuses.
