GLOCK Basic Armorer

Who Should Attend:

This one-day course is designed to provide the student with the training and experience to be a certified armorer for all GLOCK Model Pistols (except G18/C Select-Fire models.)  The class hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Certification will be valid for three years.

Course Goal:

Emphasis is given to the understanding and ability to perform basic armorer techniques.

Course Objectives:

Learn how to safely use and maintain your Glock weapon in a one day eight hour class.  This course involves:
  • Understanding the function and safeties
  • Unloading and cleaning
  • Field stripping and reassembly
  • Detail disassembly and reassembly of slide
  • Detail disassembly and reassembly of receiver
  • Fire control component configurations of receiver
  • Multiple practice disassembly and reassembly of entire pistol
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting guides


This course employs lecture, discussions, demonstrations, and practical exercises.

Course Requirements:

Attendance is required at all class sessions.  Students must obtain a score of 80% on a written examination.  Students must bring their personal safety glasses for eye protection and a small flashlight. No live ammo will be introduced into the training environment.

There will be a post written exam requiring a score of 80% or higher to successfully pass the course. Certification is valid for three years.
